ADVISORY & EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Every year, the DMA assembles a jury of scholars, marketers, creatives, and entrepreneurs to select to individuals for recognition and induction into the DMA Hall of Fame. These individuals are selected for the knowledge of the history of the direct/interactive community.
Potential inductees are selected from a field of people nominated by peers and the public.
The Advisory Committee selects up to 5 candidates and submits their selections to the Hall of Fame Executive Committee. The Executive Committee selects up to 4 individuals then makes nominates for review by the DMA Board of Directors. The award may be made at the discretion of the DMA Hall of Fame Executive Committee for accomplishments of significance either past or present. Up to four awards in either of two categories (living and posthumous) can be awarded annually. It is not necessary to present awards each year and the Committee and/or the Board may recommend and vote not to give it at all in any given year.
