Each year four individuals who have made an outstanding impact on the industry are honored for their enduring achievements, accomplishments and and strong leadership.
Direct Marketing Educational Foundation Awards
DMEF Educational Leadership Award (Edward N. Mayer, Jr. Award)
Presented to the direct marketer who has shown extraordinary support for helping advance direct / interactive marketing education at the college and university level. Selection is based upon the individual's dedication over time as shown by personal and/or financial support for direct / interactive marketing educational programs, teaching methods and materials. A key consideration is how the individual has assisted or promoted the objectives of the DMEF. This award is presented at the DMEF Annual Awards Dinner held in conjunction with the DMA’s Annual Conference.
Robert B. Clarke Outstanding Educator Award
This award recognizes an academician's overall achievement in direct / interactive marketing education. It is based on an educator's record of teaching, writing, research, and speaking.
DMEF Corporate Leadership Award
Honors a corporation that has made significant contributions to direct marketing education, actively supports DMEF, and is an active supporter of industry educational programs and activities that foster and promote excellence. This award is presented at the DMEF Annual Awards Dinner held in conjunction with the DMA’s Annual Conference.
DMEF Rising Star Awards
Presented to professionals under forty, who demonstrate superior leadership abilities that include a strong track record of outstanding results, as well as a stellar reputation for “giving back” through direct / interactive marketing education, exemplified by activities such as teaching and mentoring. The award is presented at the DMEF’s New York Awards Dinner held in June in conjunction with DMA’s DM Days.
DMEF Corporate Commitment Award
Honors a company committed to nurturing the development of "Rising Stars" … the industry's leaders of tomorrow. Award recipients are the major focus of the DMEF's Rising Stars Awards Dinner in New York, held in conjunction with DMA's DM Days.
DMEF Vision Award
Recognizes a direct marketer who has made sustained and substantial lifetime contributions to the growth and development of the direct marketing industry. Expressly designed to honor those rare individuals who by visionary hard work and creative insight have forever positively changed the direct marketing industry. This Award, when bestowed, is presented at the DMEF's New York Awards Dinner held in June in conjunction with DMA ’s DM Days.

Nonprofit Public Service Award is given in recognition of outstanding public service to the nonprofit community by an individual.
