Nonprofit Organization Of The Year Award

The Nonprofit Organization Of The Year Award is given in recognition of outstanding achievement by a nonprofit organization using direct response marketing to advance its mission.

The award is genarally presented at the annual DMA Nonprofit Federation New York Conference. An appropriate representative must be present to accept the award and make a presentation on the organization's mission and its use of direct marketing techniques.

Selection Criteria

The organization that receives this award will have demonstrated outstanding performance in the following areas:

Exemplifies the highest level of excellence in the pursuit of its mission.
Is a recognized leader with a solid reputation in the nonprofit and direct marketing communities, and with the public at large.
Has an outstanding record of achievement and successful financial performance during the previous 12-months or longer.
Meets the high ethical standards of the nonprofit community, and complies with generally accepted standards for management and public disclosure.
Preference will be given to those organizations which have demonstrated long-term success using direct marketing techniques.
Must be a nonprofit organization, but need not be a member of the DMA Nonprofit Federation.
