At 2008 DM Days New York, Exhibit Hall Is the Center of Action
April 22, 2008 — This year, DM Days New York Conference & Expo will take marketers directly to the hub of innovation — the DM Days Exhibit Hall — where attendees can capitalize on being right where the action is. With sessions conducted right on the Exhibit Hall floor during DM Days, conferees can just lean over and touch the technology, which will last from June 10-12 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York, NY.
“The Exhibit Hall, after all, is a showroom,” said Rachael Mark, DMA group show director. “And the best place to show attendees how to make use of the latest technology is right at the hub of the action. That’s why DM Days will hold a number of sessions right on the exhibit floor, and keynoters will even stage their addresses by the booths. In fact, delegates can walk right through to find new ideas in ‘Innovation Alley,’ where the focus is on all things innovative.”
One Exhibit Hall, Two Pavilions
Nearly half of the new “Marketing Technology and Operations” track sessions will take place in the Exhibit Hall itself.
The Marketing Technology/Operations Pavilion will host the “Solutions Showdowns” sessions, where a panel of experts will provide solutions to real-life scenarios created by an impartial moderator. Held each day, the showdowns will cover such key topics as Marketing Relations Management and Dashboards; Campaign Management; Marketing Asset Management; Variable Data Outputs for the Web, Email, and Print; and Web Analytics.
The second pavilion, Innovation Alley, is all about what’s new and cutting-edge. The pavilion streamlines the path for attendees to interact with these exciting vendors at readily accessible pedestal booths. With its focus on Internet marketing solutions, this pioneering pavilion will be particularly magnetic for conferees attending the “Online Marketing/Interactive Media” track in the adjacent session rooms.
Here’s a head’s up on the keynoter lineup on the Exhibit Hall floor:
· Tuesday, June 10 — Ted Leonsis, Vice Chairman Emeritus, AOL
· Wednesday, June 11 — David M. Sable, Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer, Wunderman
· Wednesday, June 11 (Luncheon) — Tom Goosmann, Chief Creative Officer, True North, Inc.
· Thursday, June 12 — Elaine Lennox, Vice President of Marketing Management, IBM’s Enterprise Systems Division
“Cutting-edge, interactive technology,” continued Mark. “This is what DM Days is all about.”
