DMA to Host Sept. 10 Virtual Seminar, Entitled 'Mobile Marketing: Consumer Perspectives'
August 25, 2008 — Mobile phones are no longer just for talking. Mobile commerce is emerging strongly, offering marketers yet another channel to reach prospects. To shine a spotlight on m-commerce developments, DMA will host a virtual conference on Wednesday, September 10 (1 to 2 p.m. EDT) titled “Mobile Marketing: Consumer Perspectives.”
Have you been considering giving mobile marketing a spin, but not sure it’s right for your company? Are you ready? More importantly, are your customers ready?
DMA is pleased to present this one-hour virtual seminar, which will feature the findings from DMA’s recent consumer primary market research.
Edward T. Manzitti, Ph.D., DMA’s VP of Research and Market Intelligence and author of the report, will answer your most pressing questions, such as:
· How are people using their phones for commerce?
· What are the most popular carriers and brands?
· What are advantages and disadvantages of mobile marketing?
· Who’s responding to offers — and who’s not — and why?
Additionally, Michael J. Becker, executive VP of Business Development, iLoop mobile, will provide expert commentary in mobile marketing best practices.
