Celebrate Advertising Week 2008 at DMA's Sept. 22 'Direct + Digital' Marketing Forum

September 18, 2008 — Advertising Week is North America’s largest and most prestigious annual gathering of industry decision-makers.  Now in its fifth year, it is a hybrid of cutting-edge thought leadership programming and unique special events.  On Monday afternoon, September 22 in New York City, DMA will host an event like none other — a dynamic and engaging presentation entitled “What Business Needs Now:  What You Need to Know About Direct + Digital = Exponential Growth.”

At this free DMA event, attendees will be a part of the first-ever virtual book signing, take away a pre-publication CD of the new thought leader anthology “What Business Needs Now” with a forward by direct marketing legend Stan Rapp, and get a sneak peak of DMA’s 2008 International ECHO Awards winners.

Additionally, attendees will hear exciting panels that will be moderated by Stan Rapp, chairman, Engauge and Barbara Lippert, critic, Adweek Media.  Their panelists include pacesetting Direct + Digital marketers Michael McCathren, Chick-fil-A; Maggie Tucker, InterContinental Hotels Group; and Kitt Williams, Lealta, Savvy & Smart, the New Face of Loyalty; as well as provocative Net-citizens Greg Verdino, Crayon Consulting Group; Ron Hogan, Beatrice.com and Mediabistro’s Galleycat blog; Jeanniey Mullen, Email Experience Council (eec) and Zinio; and Chas Salmore, Marketingworks, Inc., viral WOM innovator.
