DMA supports financial services regulation with appropriate definitions of products and services to be regulated.

HR 2221

The Data Accountability and Trust Act requires protection of personal information and provides for notification in the event of a security breach.

DMA supports a national standard for data protection and appropriate risk-based triggers for notification in event of a breach.

 

HR 2221 forwarded to full House Commerce Committee by Subcommittee voice vote

 

 


HR 22

HR 22 would allow the United States Postal Service to pay its share of contributions for annuitants' health benefits out of the Postal Service Retiree Health Benefits Fund.

DMA supports HR 22 and all options to maintain the viability of USPS

 

HR 22 passed Committee, ordered to be reported to full House by voice vote.
