January 8, 2010 — Competition in the mobile marketplace, projected to represent a $59 billion opportunity, is heating up. With giants such as Apple, Verizon, and Microsoft already on the playing field, mobile marketing is here to stay. But business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketers alike wonder: who is using mobile…are they successful…is it right for my brand…should I get started now?
For answers to these and other mobile marketing-related questions, business professionals from across the Delaware Valley are invited to attend the January 2010 networking & lunch meeting hosted by the Philadelphia Direct Marketing Association (http://www.the-pdma.org).
“How to Hit a Moving Target: Secrets of Marketing in the Mobile Age” will be presented on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at the Blue Bell Country Club in Blue Bell, PA. The presentation will be given by Det Ansinn, president of BrickSimple LLC, a software development company dedicated to the creation and delivery of innovative applications on desktop, Web, and mobile platforms. As a mobile app guru, Ansinn is a developer, strategist, and evangelist for mobile gamer presence solutions having created the 1337pwn.com Xbox Live Friends List application which is currently being used by more than four million gamers worldwide.
Ansinn will address pertinent issues related to mobile technology, including:
· Who is using mobile from both a consumer and business perspective?
· What marketing apps are successful – and why?
· What does the future hold for mobile marketers?
