Nominations Sought for DMA Business to Business Council Marketer of the Year Award; Deadline for Submissions July 30
July 9, 2010 — The DMA Business to Business Council is calling for nominations for its Marketer of the Year Award. Nominations must be submitted by July 30. Established in 2003, the Business to Business Council Marketer of the Year Award honors the achievement, innovation, and leadership of an individual whose work represents the very best in B-to-B marketing.
Business professionals can help recognize these groundbreaking B-to-B success stories by nominating the person, agency, or company they believe is an innovative, provocative and creative force in their industry.
Nominating Criteria
The individual must meet the following criteria:
- Recognized achievement in business-to-business marketing activities
- Leadership and contribution to the growth of the discipline
- Innovative approaches to delivering successful results
- Ethics
- Education
- Recognition from peers with leadership qualities
Business to Business Council Awards Breakfast
The award will be presented at the Business to Business Council Awards Breakfast at DMA 2010 in San Francisco, on Tuesday, Oct. 12. Presenting the keynote will be Jeanette Gibson, director of social media marketing at Cisco Systems, Inc.
Gibson leads the Social Media Marketing Group at Cisco. Her organization provides social strategy, services, and consulting across the company in order to expand brand presence and increase customer connections through the power of social media. Gibson and her team set Cisco’s social marketing strategy, measure its success metrics, drive alignment, governance and the sharing of best practices globally across the company.
