APRIL 21, 2006 – The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) Business-to-Business Council has honored Jerry Reisberg, managing director of Leaps&Bounds LLC, with the 2006 B-to-B Marketer of the Year Award. The award was presented at yesterday's award keynote luncheon at DMA’s Direct Marketing to Business (DMB) Conference taking place at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate, FL.
The DMA Business-to-Business Council Business-to-Business Marketer of the Year Award recognizes individuals for achievement in b-to-b marketing activities, leadership and contribution to the growth of the discipline and innovative approaches to delivering successful results. During his tenure at Dun & Bradstreet (D&B), Jerry Reisberg dedicated his efforts to the growth of the Direct Marketing Community, focusing on the B-to-B space. Reisberg led D&B's entry into B2B list marketing by encouraging the company to use its prolific business database of site names and demographics to serve mailers and direct marketers, introducing many new innovations such as expanding the standard US Government 4-digit SIC to a much refined 8-digit coding system.
Representing the power of B-to-B compiled lists, Reisberg spent much of his time contributing, both personally and professionally, to the direct marketing community. Traveling extensively and speaking at DMA events and local direct marketing clubs on both coasts, Reisberg has educated leaders on the use of B-to-B databases to drive small business growth in their states.
Reisberg spent several years as the programming director for Direct Marketing Days in New York and served as member of the Board of Directors for POSTCOM where he worked alongside DMA to keep postal rates manageable for business mailers. Leading his new company, Leaps&Bounds, LLC, Jerry will continue his contributions by serving on the Board of the DMA's Business to Business Council and the Direct Marketing Club of New York.
DMA’s DMB Conference concludes April 21.
