DMA Announces New Convention Rotation Plan; Chicago, Las Vegas and San Diego Scheduled

June 2, 2006 — The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) has announced a change in its future convention rotation plan. The new rotation is based on a survey – conducted shortly after DMA05 in Atlanta, GA – in which respondents were asked to rank potential DMA conference locations.

“The new rotation is in response to marketplace needs," said Anne A. Schaeffer, DMA’s senior vice president, education and events. “Attendees of DMA’s annual conference and exhibition have expressed enthusiasm for specific cities, including San Francisco, New York, Las Vegas, Chicago, Boston, and San Diego.”

Upcoming DMA Conference & Exhibition rotation locations have been chosen according to the survey results and venue availability:

· DMA07 – Chicago – Oct. 13-18, 2007

· DMA08 – Las Vegas – Oct. 11-16, 2008

· DMA09 – San Diego – Oct. 17-22, 2009
