October 17, 2006 — The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) has honored Yahoo! Inc. for outstanding achievement in the multichannel direct marketing process with its 2006 Marketer of the Year Award. The award was presented this morning at DMA06, which is taking place at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco. Cammie Dunaway, Yahoo! Inc.’s chief marketing officer, accepted the award.
DMA President & CEO John A. Greco, Jr. told DMA06 delegates that this year’s Marketer of the Year judges had examined marketing innovation, marketing results, and direct response impact.

Nominees also need be members of DMA.
