DMA Solicits Presentation Proposals for DM Days Conference & Expo; Set for NYC June 19-21
December 15, 2006 — Planning is well underway for the Direct Marketing Association’s (DMA) 2007 DM Days Conference & Expo, which will be held June 19-21 at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City. Today, DMA invited members of the greater direct marketing community to submit presentation proposals for the conference.
Deadline for submission is Friday, December 22, 2006.
According to Paul McDonnough, senior event producer at DMA, “One of DMA’s largest conferences, DM Days focuses on integrated marketing and offers direct marketers an opportunity to receive specific information on their target industry. DM Days offers attendees — marketing professionals from a wide range of industries and job functions — the knowledge to deliver effective messages through multichannel means.”
McDonnough said DM Days speakers represent marketing, innovation, trends, and research/insights experts from automotive, communications/utilities, education/training, financial services, insurance, pharmaceutical, manufacturing/equipment distribution, publishing, nonprofit, and services industries among others.
Speaking companies from past years, McDonnough added, include MTV, American Girl, Target, Mattel, Delta, Comcast, Cingular, Sprint, Procter & Gamble, Verizon, Unilever, Nickelodeon, Associated Press, Coca-Cola, Yahoo!, Kimberly-Clark, Pepsi, AOL, NASCAR, Warner Brothers, Experian, Google, and more.
