DMA Releases Ethics Case Report for August through December 2006
January 30, 2007 — The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) has released its Ethics Case Report for the period August to December 2006.
DMA’s Committee on Ethical Business Practice and Teleservices Ethics Committee investigate and examine promotions and practices made throughout the direct marketing field based on complaints and inquiries received.
Between August and December 2006, the committees heard 23 cases, nine of which were on general advertising, including offline and online promotions and practices, eight on telemarketing practices, and six on the collection, use and maintenance of marketing data.
