All Systems 'Go' for DM Days New York Conference & Expo 2008

Conference & Expo Set for June 10-12 in New York City

New York, NY, May 30, 2008 — The Direct Marketing Association’s (DMA) DM Days New York Conference & Expo has undergone several changes this year ¾ from going mobile to the addition of four popular events ¾ it is a must for every direct marketer.

New this year, registrants can view the entire conference guide on their cell phones by texting  DMDAYS to 58671.  As soon as they opt in, registrants can use DM Days’ mobile Internet site to sign up for interactive voice response (IVR) wake-up calls, receive text alerts about events, find a specific booth, and generally stay connected.

Another notable change this year is the addition of the “conferences with the conference”:  Fast Forward, Directo Day, International Day, and List Day.  Curtains rise on Monday, June 9 with Fast Forward held at the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers.  The main show, DM Days, will kick off the following morning, Tuesday, June 10 and run through Thursday, June 12 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

The greater DM Days programming is action packed.  Besides turn-key training in the disciplines attendees clamor for, numerous networking opportunities, and “Ask the Experts” roundtable question-and-answer forums, there is an exciting new addition.  Solutions showdown sessions, to be held on the exhibit floor, are where vendors will face off to provide solutions to real-life scenarios.

Let’s not forget the four powerful keynote presentations that fully round out the DM Days New York.  Attendees will learn the latest on successful online marketing, corporate responsibility, staying current, and going green from four dynamic keynote speakers:

·         Tuesday, June 10 — Ted Leonsis, Vice Chairman Emeritus, AOL

·         Wednesday, June 11 — David M. Sable, Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer, Wunderman

·         Wednesday, June 11 (Luncheon) — Tom Goosmann, Chief Creative Officer, True North, Inc.

·         Thursday, June 12 — Elaine Lennox, Vice President of Marketing Management, IBM’s Enterprise Systems Division
