DMA Names eBay 2008 Marketer of the Year During DMA08 in Las Vegas

Las Vegas, NV, October 14, 2008 — The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) today honored eBay with their 2008 Marketer of the Year Award during a ceremony at the Las Vegas Convention Center, held during the DMA08 Conference & Exhibition, the Global Event for Integrated Marketing.

Each year, the DMA Marketer of the Year award honors either a company or an individual for outstanding achievements in the multichannel direct marketing process.  This year, John A. Greco, Jr., DMA’s president & CEO, presented Jed Paulson, eBay senior manager of marketing technology, with the award.

eBay’s outside-the-box thinking and constant search for new concepts and methods for optimally communicating with customers has added an entirely new dimension to the power of direct.
