The DMA Issues Nominations Call For Board Of Directors
NEW YORK, January 18, 2002 – The Direct Marketing Association (The DMA) is accepting nominations for a limited number of domestic and international vacancies on The DMA Board of Directors. Nominations must be received by March 29, 2002.
Nominees will be evaluated by The DMA Nominating Committee, led this year by immediate past Board Chairman Charles D. Morgan, company leader, ACXIOM Corporation. The Committee will make its recommendations to the Board in June. The DMA membership then will vote on the final slate of nominees during the association’s Annual business meeting at The DMA 85th Annual Conference & Exhibition in San Francisco, CA this October.
To be eligible, candidates must be voting members of The DMA, have the authority to speak for their company or division, play a leadership role in the field of direct/interactive marketing, and be capable of representing their membership segment. They also must be willing to pay their own travel and hotel expenses for Board meetings.
