The DMA And AIM Announce Keynote Lineup To Its net.marketing Conference & Exhibition

NEW YORK, JANUARY 28, 2002 – The Direct Marketing Association (The DMA) and the Association for Interactive Media (AIM) today announced the keynote lineup to its net.marketing Conference & Exhibition, which will be held May 7-8 at the Hilton New York.

For the conference, The DMA and AIM have confirmed that Roy Williams, New York Times best-selling author of the book series Wizard of Ads; Andrea Weiss, president, Delia’s Corp; and Robert Friedman, president, AOL Worldwide Interactive Marketing and TV, will serve as keynote speakers.

"The net.marketing conference is set to be the most comprehensive industry event of its kind," said Ben Isaacson, executive director of the Association for Interactive Marketing. "Each of the keynotes selected will provide an extensive overview of what's working in the marketplace today, and how marketers can focus on profitability."

Roy Williams will present the opening keynote address on Tuesday, May 7 at 8:30 A.M. He will discuss how marketers can attract and hold consumers attention amid the cluttered marketplace. Later that afternoon, Andrea Weiss will present techniques that marketers can use in creating a multichannel marketing program.

The conference will continue on Wednesday, May 8 at 9:00 AM with Robert Friedman who will discuss techniques interactive marketers can use to create an ongoing relationship with their customers.

The net.marketing Conference & Exhibition is a three-day event where business professionals will learn the latest developments in online advertising, multichannel marketing, personalization marketing, new technology and e-commerce.
