NEW YORK, February 13, 2002 -- The DMA is accepting nominations for direct marketing's most prestigious honor, induction into The DMA Hall of Fame. The deadline for candidate recommendations is March 29, 2002. To date, 77 men and women have been honored for their significant contributions to the field of direct and interactive marketing.

Up to four individuals are honored annually in either of two categories -- living or posthumous -- who have made major contributions to the theory and practice of direct mail or direct/interactive marketing.

Information on candidates must include their respective contributions to direct/interactive marketing, professional histories, biographies, and related information.

The DMA 2002 Hall of Fame Committee of Judges, led by former DMA Chairman Richard C. Wolter will review candidates and then submit its recommendations to The DMA Board of Directors. Honorees will be inducted into The DMA Hall of Fame during the Association's 85th Annual Conference & Exhibition in San Francisco, CA in October 2002.
