DMA INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL TO HOST INTERNATIONAL MARKETING DAY

DMA International Council Day 2003

NEW YORK, April 8, 2003 -- To help marketers succeed in the international marketplace, the Direct Marketing Association (The DMA) International Council will host a one-day seminar titled The DMA International Council Day 2003 -- Successful Strategies in International Marketing: A Day of Case Studies.

The seminar -- held June 18, 2003, at The DMA headquarters in New York City -- will provide marketers with proven tools and strategies used by marketers in other countries. Participants will learn firsthand how organizations such as Capital One, Ford Motor Company, National Geographic, and UNICEF are developing profitable markets overseas.

The DMA International Council Day 2003 also will feature:

  • Round-table discussions covering topics such as e-commerce, international payment solutions, mailing lists, and postal issues.
  • A special workshop focused on international accounting issues, joint ventures and organizational set-up.
  • Networking breaks held throughout the day.
  • A closing wine and cheese networking reception.
