THE DMA LIST & DATABASE COUNCIL ANNOUNCES LIST LEADER OF THE YEAR AWARD RECIPIENT, DONALD MOKRYNSKI

NEW YORK, June 7, 2004 – The DMA List and Database Council is pleased to announce that Donald Mokrynski, Chairman of Mokrynski and Associates, Inc., will be the recipient of The DMA List Leader of the Year Award. The award, which recognizes outstanding contributions to the list and database industry, will be presented at the List Leader of the Year Awards dinner taking place on Wednesday, August 11 at the Manhattan Penthouse in New York City.

"Don's company has been in the forefront of the list business for more than 25 years and every cataloger knows Don Mokrynski and the lists and mailers Mokrynski and Associates represents," says Linda Huntoon, chair of The DMA List & Database Council, and executive vice president of Direct Media. "Many of us have become successful in our own business practices using Don Mokrynski's patterns as a model."

At a time when the modern catalog industry was just beginning to come into its own, Don founded Mokrynski and Associates, an organization that has become one of the leading list organizations in the United States. Located in Hackensack, NJ, Mokrynski and Associates has offices in California, Minnesota, North Carolina, Virginia, and London, England, and has more than 130 employees on staff. The company specializes in catalog, fundraising, e-commerce, international business, insert media, and related marketing services.

Prior to launching his own business, Mokrynski spent eight years at The Sperry Hutchinson Company (S&H Green Stamps), where he was involved in the development and acquisition of mail order and mailing list businesses. His extensive experience and investment in quality and professional employees have enabled him to create a unique company that has set a standard in the industry.

A frequent speaker at industry functions, Mokrynski is an active participant in several industry related organizations, including The DMA List & Database Council and The DMA Catalog Council and its Operating Committee. As a member of the Catalog Council, he is also the newsletter chairman.
