THE DMA LIST AND DATABASE COUNCIL ANNOUNCES LIST LEADER OF THE YEAR AWARD RECIPIENT, DEB GOLDSTEIN

New York, June 7, 2005 — The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) List and Database Council today announced that Deb Goldstein, president, IDG List Services, will be the recipient of The DMA List Leader of the Year Award. The award, which recognizes outstanding contributions to the list and database industry, will be presented at the List Leader of the Year awards dinner taking place on August 4, 2005, at the Marriott Marquis in New York City.

“I am thrilled with Deb’s selection for this prestigious award,” said Linda Huntoon, chair of The DMA List and Database Council, and executive vice president of Direct Media. “Deb has always gone out of her way to serve the industry — first in the emerging high tech arena, and now in the e-commerce world. ”

As an employee of IDG List Services for 19 years and its current president, Goldstein has built her business unit from a list management operation of 10 lists to 80 lists today that represent IDG and non-IDG clients — both postal and e-mail.

In February 1995, she launched a brokerage division, which currently has more than 65 clients.  Goldstein has taken a leadership role in the promotion of best practices in e-mail marketing as IDG List Services launched the first ethical response-based e-mail rental program on the list market in August 1996.

Goldstein also demonstrates leadership and dedication to the direct response industry as a member of the List and Database Council, and is on the Board of Directors of the List Leaders Group.  “Deb represents her company, her industry, and her colleagues with the highest standard of professionalism, and the list industry is very fortunate to have her among us,” adds Huntoon.
