Since co-founding the Avalon Consulting Group in 1997, Allison has played an integral role in Avalon’s growth and development as a leading full-service fundraising agency that “connects great causes to great people.” She is recognized across both the nonprofit and fundraising industries for her direct marketing expertise and creative fundraising strategies. Allison leads Avalon's client services team, providing ongoing strategy and support to current clients as well as managing new client development. Drawing on more than fifteen years of direct marketing agency experience and a background in university development and public relations, she has built successful membership programs for clients like the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence and the League of Women Voters. In particular, Allison’s expertise in list selection and management has helped Avalon clients improve the cost effectiveness and performance of their acquisition programs. Under Allison’s leadership, Avalon has expanded its online fundraising practice to be a fully integrated and robust component of Avalon’s client programs. Allison has also guided the expansion of Avalon’s reporting and analysis capabilities through MERLIN, Avalon’s custom reporting system, which will soon be available to clients online. |
