Lauren Stanich has served as President of Publishing of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc., (NYSE: MSO) since October of 2000.  From March 2003 – 2005, Stanich also served as EVP, President of Internet, overseeing the Martha Stewart Catalog for Living and the company’s marthastewart.com website content.  In her current role, Ms. Stanich runs all operations of MSO’s Publishing segment including the company’s magazines, Martha Stewart Living, Everyday Food, Body + Soul, Weddings, and the test of Blueprint; special magazine issues such as Martha Stewart Holiday and Good Things; books written by Martha Stewart and the editors of Martha Stewart Living; and the syndicated Living, Weddings, and Everyday Food newspaper columns. 

Ms. Stanich joined MSO in 1991 as Circulation Director.  In 1995 she became Consumer Marketing Director, and in 1997 was promoted to Senior Vice President of Consumer Marketing, where she was responsible for all of MSO’s direct marketing activities to attract and retain highly qualified customers to the brand.  In this capacity, her job included launching the Best of Martha Stewart Living book program, the Martha by Mail catalog, and Martha’s Flowers.  Ms. Stanich was named Executive Vice President in 1999 and President of Publishing in 2000. 

Over the last 15 years, Ms. Stanich has been central to the building of Martha Stewart Living’s strong customer franchise.  During her tenure, Ms. Stanich administered the launch of Everyday Food, acquisition of Body + Soul, and the test of the company’s newest magazine, Blueprint.  Adweek named Martha Stewart Living to its “Hotlist” in 2001 and Everyday Food as “Launch of the Year” in 2005.  AdAge recognized the dedication and success of Ms. Stanich and her colleagues by naming them “Executive Team of the Year” in 2005.

Prior to joining MSO, Ms. Stanich spent seven years in consumer marketing and publishing positions at Time, Inc. for both Discover and Money magazines.  She received a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Columbia University.  Ms. Stanich and her husband live with their three children in Westchester County, New York.
