Attendee FAQ's

Q: Where is the show and conference being held?
A: McCormick Place West.

Q: What are the exhibit dates?
A: October 14 - 16, 2007

Q: What are the overall conference program dates?
A: October 13 - 18, 2007

Q: Is there a registration fee to attend the exhibits only portion of DMA07?
A: Yes, the fees for DMA Members and Non Members are the same:
All 3 Days (Sunday – Tuesday): $250
One Day: $150

Q: Do you have special group rates if multiple people from the same company register?
A: Yes, register 4 people from the same company and get the 5th registration free. Registrations must all be completed at the same time and from the same company.

Q: If I register for just the exhibit hall, can I attend the General Session?
A: Yes, you can attend the general session.

Q: Am I permitted to purchase a single session if I’m only registered to attend exhibits?
A: Unfortunately no. Your registration only includes the exhibit hall and access to the general session of that day.

Q: Does the full conference registration package include any of the special events?
A: Yes, the ECHO Gala being held Tuesday night, October 17 and the receptions in the exhibit hall are included in your package. However, there are some events that require separate registration such as council networking events. Please see the Special Events page on the DMA07 Web site for details.

Q: Do I need to stick to one track or can I select sessions from any track?
A: You are able to select sessions from any track and attend in any order.

Q: What is MyDMA07?
A: MyDMA07 is an online portal that gives you the ability to search for sessions, exhibitors, and fellow attendees before, during and after the show. You can build a conference plan that is customized for you that includes walking maps of the exhibit hall floor. It’s a wealth of information and networking at your fingertips. Q: I am an international visitor. How can I apply for a visa?
A: Go to http://www.the-dma.org/conferences/dma07/international.shtml and find out how to apply for visas to the United States.

Q: Can I cancel/transfer by registration without penalty?
A: Please submit changes and transfers in writing to DMA Registration & Housing. Changes received after September 29, 2007, will be handled on-site.

Cancellation Refund Schedule
>September 14, 2007 or before: 100% refund or account credit
>September 15, 2007 through October 14, 2007: No refund –
account credit minus $150 fee
>October 13, 2007 or no show: No refund – no account credit

DMA is not responsible for any expenses incurred by you as a result of your
registration, whether the event was attended or not.
