Special Mentoring Program at the New York Nonprofit Conference

Not sure where you are going, want to get ahead, or just nervous in this economy?  Speak one-on-one with a mentor and get some answers and some direction.

The DMA Non-Profit Federation is pleased to offer one-on-one mentoring to all its members during the August conference in New York. This program allows you to sit with an experienced Direct Marketer to help you with growing your direct marketing and fundraising experience.

Help is there for simple questions, as well as directions to help find your way to the answers of the bigger ones. Sit with some of the best direct mail fundraisers and top suppliers to discuss questions like:

• In this economy should I be worried about my career choices, am I on the right path?
• How do I move from a small non-profit to a large one, will my skills transfer?
• I work for a large non-profit and would like to move to an agency and become a consultant. Do you think I have enough experience?
• I am afraid my position is being eliminated – what should I do?
• How do I learn new skills? Should I go back to school?
• How can I advance myself in my current organization?
• How can I optimize networking opportunities?
