Exhibiting ROI-Q™ Academy™

This multi-session academy is conducted by Charles W. Allen, in conjunction with the Trade Show Exhibitors Association (TSEA). Through these highly interactive sessions, each participant will learn the fundamentals of successful exhibiting, boothmanship, the essential “do’s and don’ts” of exhibiting and more. This series of Webinars kicked off with the The New Science of Event Marketing 2.0™ program which was a resounding success.

We encourage you to mark your calendars NOW to make plans on attending the next Webinar taking place at 1:00 P.M. ET on May 13th. It represents one of the essential foundations of successful exhibiting and ROI Maximization, and is entitled "The New Art of Effective Boothmanship 2.0™". According to the Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR), "professional training of booth staff personnel increases sales conversion efficiencies by 68%."

This Webinar will convey the proven principles of Boothmanship which consistently lead to increased 'attraction efficiency' of your target audience and dramatic increases in your 'sales conversions'. For more information on this program, and to register, click here.

The final Webinar in the series, “Today’s Five Essential Steps to Every Winning Presentation (Face-to-Face Mastery 2.0),” will be held early June, just prior to the show. Website and Conference Directory Listing

The deadline for updating your listing for inclusion in the onsite Show Directory is next Wednesday — April 29th. It is important that you take a few minutes to go online to update your listing* as the on-site directory will be created directly from the information provided by each exhibitor. Exhibitor listings may include a brief description, up to (5) category listings and a sales contact (optional).

Exhibitors are encouraged to post their information as soon as possible as attendees will be using this information to plan their show schedules. Any updates to your listing after the April 29th deadline will appear on the DM Days Website, but not in the printed directory.

To update your listing on the DM Days New York website, please follow the instructions below:

1. Click here to access the website
2. Enter the Event Number: DMD0109
3. Enter Password for «COMPANY»: «ONLINE_PASSWORD» (letters only – case sensitive)

DM Days New York Hotel Reservations

ATTENTION DM DAYS EXHIBITORS: It has come to our attention that an outside housing service has been contacting DM Days exhibitors to secure room reservations for the upcoming show. The official housing partner for DM Days is Travel Technology Group. You will find the link to the official online reservation site on the DM Days website and also below, along with alternate contact information.

The official hotel for DM Days this year is the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers and we’re providing a special reduced nightly rate of $259. All Sheraton guests who book rooms under the block by May 21st will receive double Starwood Preferred Guest points for their stay. All terms and program rules & regulations still apply.

In charge of a group? Group reservations are just as simple to make as those for individuals. Simply reserve the quantity you need and receive an immediate confirmation, then log in later to manage your bookings.

Plan ahead: only a limited block of rooms are available at a DM Days rate. The reservation deadline is Thursday, May 21, 2009.

Exhibitor Service Manuals

Click here to access the online service kit.

Please take a few moments to check out the kit and everything it covers. Your kit includes details on shipping materials to the show, union labor jurisdictions, ordering electrical and Internet services, as well as general show information. The “Specialty Contractors” section includes information from the following:

  • CompuLead for lead retrieval
  • PSAV for any computer and/or audio/visual needs
  • Javits Center Tool Kit for electrical and other utility services, plus in-booth catering orders
  • Happening Photos for booth photography
  • Spring Valley Floral for plants and floral arrangements

To download order forms and place orders online, you will need to create a Freeman account (if you do not currently have one). If you do not want to place show orders online, you may print out any necessary order forms, complete these, and send via fax or mail for processing.

REMINDER! Your space application confirms your company as an exhibitor in DM Days New York. Badge registration for staff is a separate process. Exhibitor registration can be done online, by fax, or by mail.

  • For every 100 square feet of booth space, exhibitors are entitled to 4 complimentary and up to 2 paid Exhibitor badges. If you have additional staff who are attending just to work as booth personnel, there is the “Exhibitor Hall Only” badge available at $75 per person.

  • Exhibitors may submit the completed Exhibitor Registration form, OR you have the option of registering staff for badges via the DM Days New York website. From the DM Days registration page – www.dmdays.com – click on the “Exhibitor Registration” link. Exhibitors will be asked to enter your company’s assigned user name and password which are:
    User Name: DMD
    Password: [Online Password]

Through the online registration system, exhibitors have the ability to:

  • Add new registrations
  • Check to see who is already registered through your allotment
  • Make corrections/changes/cancellations to existing registrations

All DM Days badges will be available for pick up at the Exhibitor Registration Counter at the Javits Center.

Preferred Exhibit Hall Passes

Your Preferred Exhibit Hall Passes have been mailed. These Passes carry a value of $100 each – the cost of a 3-day Exhibits Only registration – but offer your customers FREE admittance if they register by May 29, 2009.

Encourage your guests to register online via the DM Days New York website – www.dmdays.com – and enter the Key Code of 09VCO (this code is also noted on each pass). Badges will be available for pick-up in the Registration area.

Preferred Exhibit Hall Passes are also accepted on-site but registering in advance will save attendees money and time that can then be spent on the show floor.

Preferred Exhibit Hall Pass Policies:

  • These passes are for guests only, not for exhibitor staff.
  • The pass applies to new registrations only – no refunds or credits will be made for previous registrations.
  • Free registration deadline is May 29, 2009. Registrations after this date and onsite are $50 per person.
  • There is no cost/credit value for the pass.
  • No transfers or name changes will be accepted once the pass is used.
  • Exhibitors are allotted 25 free passes.

DM Days New York Passport to Prizes!

DM Days NY will again feature the Passport to Prizes exhibit hall promotion. Drive traffic to your booth by participating in DM Days New York’s Passport to Prizes. Participation will generate hundreds of opportunities to get your message out to attendees.

Here’s how it works:
Each DM Days Conference & Expo attendee will be issued a blank "Passport" card at registration. Attendees will take their card around the expo floor during show hours to collect verification stamps from the participating exhibiting companies listed on their Passport. Once attendees have completed their Passport, they will drop it off at any of the designated ticket tumblers located throughout the expo floor. All completed entries will be eligible for a prize drawing that will be conducted on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. Sponsors are to provide the prize(s) to be awarded. Plus, to generate even more buzz around the drawings, DMA is donating a grand prize of $1,000 to one lucky entrant.

Only Conference Attendees and Hall Visitors are eligible for prizes and they must be present in the Exhibit Hall to win.

Don’t delay in signing up; this is a limited participation opportunity.

DM Days NY 2010 Space Selection

Mark your calendar for June 14-16, 2010!

You've spoken and we've listened. Based on feedback from both exhibitors and attendees, we are excited to confirm that DM Days New York will be moving back to the Hilton NY & Towers in 2010.

Please note that the show schedule is also changing. The exhibits will be open Monday and Tuesday, June 14 & 15. Wednesday, June 16th, will be sessions only – no exhibits.

We will begin selling exhibit space for the 2010 event during the upcoming show this June. Onsite space sales will be done using the Priority Points System. Priority Space Selection packets will be mid-May and will include the 2010 DM Days Space Application, Exhibiting Terms & Conditions, NY Hilton Floor Plan, the priority point schedule and a list of all companies with active priority points.

  • Pre-Show Attendee List will be available after May 22, 2009.

  • Advance registration will close June 9, 2009.

  • Exhibitor move-in officially begins on Monday, June 15, 2009. All exhibits are to be set by Monday, June 15th at 6:00 P.M.
