Google Analytics has made online marketing life easier than it used to be by providing a user-friendly interface and plentiful reporting tools and features. It's also helped marketers and website owners around the globe obtain a better understanding of their traffic patterns, search terms used, entry and exit points, and most importantly, what important actions the visitors to the website are taking. Therefore, Google Analytics is not only user-friendly and visually appealing, it's actionable, insightful, and helpful in understanding your website and your visitors.
By learning how to leverage all of the available features that Google Analytics has to offer, you (the website owner / marketer / IT director) will be on your way to improving task completion rates and reducing your website's pain points by knowing how to properly set profiles up, create filters and goals, and use the powerful, advanced features in Google Analytics like Intelligence, Custom Alerts, Custom Reporting, Annotations, and Advanced Segments.
However, as great as Google Analytics is, it isn't perfect and it can't do everything. That's why, to be truly successful online, you must use some of the other Google-based programs that are freely available. For example, the Search-Based Keyword Tool allows you to build a comprehensive, targeted list of keywords for any pay-per-click campaign, and the DoubleClick AdPlanner platform lets you create a media plan for your next Google Display Network campaign.
Join us for a live webinar on Thursday, September 23rd at 1PM EST / 10 AM PST as we'll roll up our sleeves and show you how to leverage Google Analytics and some other fascinating Google programs. When the webinar is over, you'll have the knowledge and confidence to log-in to Google Analytics (or Google program) and extract valuable, actionable insights from your data and apply your knowledge to your website and your marketing campaigns.
Topics to be covered include:
A review of proper profile set-up (including creating a profile, goals, goal funnels, and filters)
Understanding the Intelligence section and creating your own Custom Alerts
How Custom Variables work and how to make them work for YOU
Turbo-Charging your analytics data by using Annotations and Advanced Segments
Viewing your Google Analytics data with your dimensions and metrics using Custom Reports
Using the Search-Based Keyword Tool and DoubleClick AdPlanner for your next Google pay-per-click campaigns
