Direct Marketing Agency Council



The goal of The DMA Direct Marketing Agency Council is to represent the interests of direct marketing agencies. The Council provides information and education to executives, as well as providing a networking forum for agencies and those who do business with agencies.

Council Events
Direct Marketing Agency Council members meet regularly, networking and sharing their knowledge with one another. Educational seminars, virtual seminars, and events such as the DM Days New York Conference and the Annual Conference keep Council members up-to-date on the latest developments affecting agencies.

In addition, you can attend events sponsored by the Direct Marketing Agency Council at a special discounted rate for Council members.

Past Event Recap: The Agency Council Winter Executive Briefing January, 2008- Tucson, AZ.
The Agency Winter Executive Briefing was a great success. Much of that success was due to the exceptional job done by the Programming Co-Chairs:

Sandra Gudat, Customer Communications Group Inc
Carolyn Goodman, Goodman Marketing Partners Inc.

The event was at the stunning, Loews Ventana Canyon Resort nestled in the back of Tucsons beautiful Sabino Canyon, home to the legendary Saugauro cactus. The world class resort had an amazing spa and stunning links for the golf outing. Our networking events were a big hit as well.

The sessions received an average rating of 3.2 (out of 4-Excellent). This conference catered to agency leaders and the sessions addressed challenges agencies are facing today . Many of the attendees this year expressed looking forward to attending in 2009. The DMA has already begun to look at possible venues.

Keep an eye out for a Save-the-Date notice. Also, as a council member the registration fee discount to this event more than makes up for the cost of council membership.
