The DMA Search Engine Marketing Council (SEMC) helps organizations understand, integrate, and optimize search engine marketing (SEM) and search engine optimization (SEO) best practices into an overall marketing plan. SEMC membership helps create, educate, and promote ethical industry guidelines. SEMC members are thought leaders who understand the "big picture" and include marketers, media properties and search engines.
