Known as the premier DMEF Award, the Education Leadership Award is presented to the direct marketer who has shown extraordinary support for helping advance direct marketing education at the college and university level. The corporate award winner will be announced at the DMEF's Annual Awards Dinner, to take place on Saturday, October 11 in conjunction with DMA's Annual Conference in Las Vegas. The deadline for nomination submissions is May 23, 2008.

Nominating Criteria:
The Education Leadership Award honors the unique and significant actions by an individual who demonstrates support for direct / interactive marketing education in the following areas:

• The individual's dedication over time as shown by her/his personal and financial support for direct marketing educational programs
• The individual's involvement in the creation and development of teaching methods and materials
• Personal contribution of time, expertise and / or financial resources to further the DMEF's mission and objectives
• The individual is a recognized leader in fostering and promoting excellence in direct / interactive marketing education at colleges and universities
