A MESSAGE FROM DMEF CHAIRMAN ALLEN W. DYON AND PRESIDENT TERRI L. BARTLETT Dear Members of the Direct Marketing Community – Revitalize! Revamp! Renew! These are adjectives used to describe the vast changes taking place at the DMEF over the past year. It’s no exaggeration to say that we’re just getting started. While we work on countless programs and activities to further our mission to attract, educate, and place top college students by continuously improving and supporting the teaching of world-class direct / interactive marketing we are taking this opportunity to give you a glimpse of new developments taking place here at the Foundation. Whether it’s this year’s Rising Stars Award winners, or our ever-improving programs to support professors and students, we work tirelessly to prepare tomorrow’s “direct marketing stars.” As a nonprofit organization, we must turn to you for support. So, we hope you’ll jump in and support us as part of our Spring fundraising drive. It’s easy … just click here to download your donation form. Every donation, no matter what the size, is needed and appreciated. That said, please take a moment to read about the latest developments here at the DMEF. Better yet, join us in person on June 10 as we celebrate the 2008 Rising Stars Awards Dinner in New York City … and raise a glass to honor our community’s youngest stars! We thank you for your support, and look forward to hearing from – or seeing you – in the coming months. Sincerely, |

| JUNE DMEF RISING STAR DINNER EMAIL CAMPAIGN | ||||||||||||||||
Thanks to the fantastic support of MRM Gillespie for their excellent creative input, and Exmplar for their email services, we will be conducting an email campaign to promote and support the Rising Stars Awards Dinner. Watch for your emailings soon! Not only will you be notified of the festivities in a beautiful way, but you’ll have an opportunity to reserve your space online. If you’re unable to attend, you may submit your reservation for an ad – to pay tribute to the award winners listed above – or make a donation to the DMEF. If you would like to be added to the invitation email list please contact Jeannette Monaco at jmonaco@the-dma.org. The Rising Stars Awards Program is an affirmation of the success and purpose of the DMEF … showcasing young professionals who are demonstrating leadership and success during their first decade of employment. While many awards pay tribute to the past accomplishments of individuals and companies within an industry, the DMEF’s Rising Stars – introduced in 2007 – honors those who show promise for the future. It is the only award that acknowledges the achievements of professionals 40 years and under in the direct / interactive marketing arena. Also, this award creates a blueprint for young professionals by showing how community involvement tracks to leadership development in their careers. |
