A MESSAGE FROM DMEF CHAIRMAN ALLEN W. DYON AND PRESIDENT TERRI L. BARTLETT School’s out for summer! We considered taking a break from our monthly e-newsletter, but the truth is – we’ve got some news we thought you’d like to read during these dog days of summer. We hope you’ll take a moment to read about our remarkable 2008 Annual Award winners, to be honored at our most prestigious event of the year – set to take place on October 11 at the Bellagio Las Vegas, as well as the kick off of the Direct Marketing Leadership Development Program where three recent graduates will immerse themselves in the world of direct / interactive marketing. And, lastly, but definitely not least, we are thrilled to have 11 new college and university students set to receive tuition support as part of the DMEF’s 2008 Scholarship Fund. This is what we’re doing during our summer break! We can’t wait to meet up with you next, when we’ll be announcing our new website – to go live in August. We’re certain you’ll be as thrilled with the look, feel and quality of our new site as we continue to work diligently to be your foundation of choice … as we work together to educating students today to enrich the direct / interactive marketing talent pool of tomorrow. We wish you a wonderful summer break … see you in August!
