The 2008 DMEF Rising Stars Awards will pay tribute to the most talented professionals 40 years of age and under working in the field of direct / interactive marketing. Winning candidates will have demonstrated superior leadership abilities, including a strong track record of outstanding results and a stellar reputation for “giving back” through direct marketing education.

First introduced in 2007, the Rising Stars Awards will be given to a minimum of three outstanding individuals currently working within the direct / interactive marketing field. Each candidate should demonstrate a commitment to the industry as evidenced by his / her charitable actions to support education in the field, including direct / interactive marketing education, activities at his or her alma mater to promote direct / interactive marketing, volunteering for industry groups or committees, mentoring, etc.

To qualify:

• Nominees must work in the online or offline direct marketing space.
• Nominees must be aged 40 or under and have worked in the direct / interactive marketing field for a minimum of 10 years.

Nominators, at their discretion, are encouraged to include:

• Supplemental information in support of the nominee, and
• Nominee’s personal submission.

The winners will receive the following:

• A trophy to be presented at the DMEF Rising Stars Awards Dinner on June 10, 2008 at the Marriott Marquis Times Square in New York City;
• Photo opportunities and media coverage announcing the winning recipients’ achievement, in conjunction with the DMEF Rising Stars Awards Dinner. (Candidates are required to attend the event at their expense.)
