At this annual event, companies seeking to inspire case-writing authors — and 2009's winning case writers — will present their cases and discuss their case writing experience to encourage your participation. 

In 2008, leading practitioners presented real-world “case situations” for aspiring case writers for the 2008-09 writing year.  These outstanding cases, complete with information such as company background and specific challenges that led to campaigns included:

As a participant, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Identify a case that intrigues you
  • Find the right partner or partners to write with
  • Prepare to get your case organized, outlined, written, approved, and considered for book publication
  • Be mentored through the rough spots at any point while you’re working on your case
  • Submit a case to potentially win 1st, 2nd or 3rd prize at the 2009 DMEF Direct/Interactive Marketing Research Summit and see your case published in several potential journals and/or the next IMC Handbook edition.

2009's winning case writers will be announced on Saturday, October 17 and receive their awards on Sunday, October 18 at a special Direct / Interactive Marketing Research Summit Awards Luncheon ceremony.
