  • DMA Environmental Resolution
    In May 2007, DMA's Board of Directors passed an environmental resolution to move members along a path of continuous environmental improvement in five key areas: list hygiene & data management; mail design & production; paper procurement & use; packaging; and recycling & pollution reduction.

  • DMA “Green 15” Overview
    DMA’s Environmental Resolution (May 2007) calls upon members worldwide to implement and benchmark a set of 15 eco-friendly business practices: the Green 15.

  • DMA “Green 15” Toolkit
    This toolkit contains the information and resources that members need to understand and comply with DMA’s Environmental Resolution (May 2007), which calls upon members worldwide to implement and benchmark a set of 15 eco-friendly business practices: the Green 15.

  • DMA Environmental Tool & Optional Policy Generator
    A free web-based tool that provides marketers with over one-hundred strategies to improve their environmental footprint, and educates on the complexity and variety of environmental issues facing the direct marketing community.

  • DMA “Recycle Please” Campaign
    This campaign encourages DMA members to use a “Recycle Please” logo to raise consumer awareness about the current widespread capacity to recycle used magazines, catalogs, and direct mail, and the environmental benefits of doing so.

SPECIAL INTEREST COMMITTEES & NETWORKS

  • DMA Committee on Environment and Social Responsibility (CESR)
    CESR’s mission, as mandated by DMA’s Board of Directors in 2005, is to identify challenges germane to direct marketing companies being good corporate citizens and influences DMA members to make progress on these challenges. CESR currently has two Subcommittees, one of which is focused on environmental issues, the other on e-commerce integrity.

  • DMA Corporate Responsibility Network
    Free DMA e-newsletter covering the latest in corporate responsibility issues as they pertain to the direct marketing community. Issues covered range from consumer protection, ethics & compliance, environment, privacy, and social responsibility.
