Welcome to The DMA Government Affairs Online Member Outreach Program

The DMA's weekly government affairs chat room has concluded its first run. We feel it was successful and hopefully helped those who joined us better understand some of the issues plaguing our industry. We have decided at this time to not run the chat room again immediately. With the new Congress not yet in session we feel that at this time there would be little gained to having a weekly discussion. We are very open to any suggestions of starting the chat room up again once the new Congress convenes. We also urge, as always, anyone with specific questions to visit our message board and post any inquiry there. We feel that this medium provides everyone who views it with information and also, unlike the chat room which is obviously run in a real time format, it also provides more time for The DMA staff to gather the sufficient information in order to adequately answer the questions posted.

We will continue to check the message board frequently and try and provide answers as promptly as possible. Again, if there are any suggestions as to how we could improve a future series of chat rooms we urge our members to post them on the message board.
