RULES AND ELIGIBILITY

The DMA Innovation Awards recognize the innovative advances being made in marketing technology. Innovation can be in the form of new-to-market offers, standing solutions addressing complex business problems, market-leading solutions, or some new approach altogether that improves efficiency or effectiveness of the programs. This year the DMA will recognize solutions across seven categories that mostly parallel the presentation tracks at DMA2012.

  1. Database, Measurement & Attribution
    Solutions focusing on database, data processing and hygiene, reporting, and advanced analytics for targeting and attribution

  2. Brand, Social & Content Marketing
    Solutions that center around the use of social media to build brand awareness, engage current and prospective customers, generate leads, and build relationships

  3. Loyalty
    Solutions encompassing any and all aspects of loyalty marketing including full points programs, membership programs, and, of course, value-tier analytics

  4. Connected Customer Strategies
    Solutions that are centered on the use of mobile technologies (across devices) to build either or both brand awareness and customer interactions

  5. Real Time & Trigger Marketing
    Solutions focused on timely and relevant communications using automated data and analytics

  6. Campaign and Marketing Operations Management
    Single and multichannel solutions for online / offline acquisition and retention marketing, using integrated technologies that improve the process, cost and execution management for end-to-end campaign delivery

  7. Digital Media Marketing
    Solutions that are centered around the use of digital technologies to build any combination of brand awareness, customer interaction and conversion. The digital media in this category include display, search, email, DRTV, and affiliate marketing.

ENTRY CRITERIA

Entries are to meet the following criteria:

  1. Innovative advances must have been available on the market after June 2011.
  2. Have innovative distinction from other products or solution currently developed for the marketing community.
  3. If it's a production extension, it must have substantial modification or adaptation.
  4. Has a fresh way of looking at an existing solution.
  5. Provide benefit to the marketing community and their customers.
  6. How it has helped the end user improve efficiency or effectiveness.
  7. Provide data to quantify the impact.

ELIGIBILITY

Please provide a clear, concise and logical response to each and every question that is applicable to your entry. You must use the official entry form.

The DMA Innovation Awards recognizes the innovative advances being made in direct and digital marketing technology. The product or solution must have been available on the market after June 2011.

The DMA Innovation Awards Committee reserves the right to reassign entry categories for submissions that are deemed incorrectly entered. Please retain a copy of your entry form for your files.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY/USAGE

The DMA Innovation Awards assumes all entries are original and the entrant either owns the work or has permission from the owner's approved agent to enter the work, with all rights granted therein. The DMA Innovation Awards shall not be liable for any trademark or copyright infringement on the part of the entrant.

Submission of any entry acknowledges the right of the DMA Innovation Awards to use it for exhibition, promotion and publication purposes in any medium.

Timely submission of an entry meeting the eligibility requirements and payment of the entry fee as stated herein ensures that an entrant's work will be reviewed and considered for recognition. No other representation or warranty is made by the Innovation Awards concerning entries, and all implied warranties are hereby expressly disclaimed.

If an entry receives an award, the manner and details of announcing such nomination and award is strictly within the discretion of the DMA Innovation Awards. Entrant understands that all awards may not be presented to awardees or publicized in the same manner and some may be presented in a ceremony and others may not at the discretion of the DMA.

Entry Deadline is July 25, 2012.

DMA2012 Innovation Pavilion
Innovation Award winners' products or solutions will be looped in a video display in the Innovation Pavilion.

Payment can be made via credit card or check. Please indicate payment method on the entry form. Credit card information should be included on the entry form.
