Analytics Answers and a Challenge at DMA2011 [DMA11]

You’ll get answers to all of your direct marketing analytics questions at this year’s DMA marketing conference. With a pre-conference intensive, a Data, Measurement & Attribution educational track and a track in the post-conference certification, DMA2011 can provide in-depth tips and knowledge on how to predict, segment, evaluate, measure, test and refine your campaigns.

If you already know everything there is to know about direct marketing analytics, then you might be able to strut your stuff as the winner of the Hearst Analytics Challenge. Hearst Magazines regularly sends emails to its customer base to present them with new offers, provide information about different publications, and tackle different account management tasks. This year’s challenge involves predicting a recipient’s response to email solicitations. Participants will be provided with historical information and will be required to use this information to develop specific predictive models. The Grand Prize winner will receive $25,000 in prize money. The Most Innovative Method winner will receive $5,000 in prize money. The deadline for final solutions to be submitted via the competition website is August 31. Winners will be announced October 4 at DMA 2011.

Over 10,000 attendees will discover the latest in integrated marketing and direct marketing analytics at this year’s DMA2011 Conference & Exhibition, Oct 1-6 in Boston. DMA2011 is the only global marketing event that packs so many learning opportunities in before, during and after the main event. And who knows, you could come away with a big prize!
