Want to help plan or participate at a Nonprofit Federation Conference?

The DMA Nonprofit Federation produces world class conferences and educational opportunities for nonprofit marketers. These professional events provide insight, knowledge advancement and professional development opportunities at every level for the nonprofit community.

Conference planning begins 10-12 months in advance of the event date. Conference planning committees accept and review proposals for consideration from members and non-members.

We are now accepting proposals for our 2009 Washington Nonprofit Conference which will be held at the Renassaince Hotel in Washington, DC - January 29-30, 2009.

Please complete the Session Proposal Form and submit to Helen Lee by June 15, 2008. If your session is accepted you will be notified. All proposals will be kept on file for future consideration for a period of one year.

Requirements

  • The proposal form must be complete – add pages as necessary to your proposal. Complete contact information for all speakers must be provided.
  • The Nonprofit Federation requires speakers present the session in an educational, non-commercial and non-self-promotional manner.
  • Speaker travel and/or local expenses are not covered by DMA Nonprofit Federation.
  • If your session proposal is selected, speakers must be confirmed by the initial conference promotion deadline. If it is necessary to replace a speaker, the replacement must be approved by the Nonprofit Federation.
