The Nonprofit Federation is a department of the Direct Marketing Association (DMA). We work tirelessly on behalf of the nonprofit direct and interactive marketing community; aggressively and effectively advocating on postal, regulatory, legislative and accountability issues at every level of government. Our ultimate goal is to keep every channel open for every marketer. With the litany of threats to charitable fundraising, the Federation’s presence as an industry voice has never been more imperative.

We advocate tirelessly on behalf of the nonprofit sector and closely monitor legislation and regulations at the federal and state level so that our members are kept informed and can respond proactively to threats as they occur. We monitor postal issues in conjunction with the DMA Government Affairs department and have been at the forefront on issues including postal reform, postal rate cases, the cooperative mail rule and the personalization rule.
