“Recycle Please” Logo Specifications and Guidelines
The centerpiece of this campaign is a logo featuring a blue recycle bin with the “Recycle Please” message, “Recycle Please” web address (www.recycleplease.org), and the DMA “power button”. To accommodate different sizes, colors and formats of direct mail pieces, DMA has created several logo options that are consistent with the centerpiece logo.
Members should display the logo as frequently and prominently as possible:
- in their catalogs and/or direct mail pieces that can be recycled; and/or
- on packaging, packaging materials, and/or envelopes that they send that can be recycled.
Members may also display the logo on their website, use it in communications or outreach to business employees and colleagues, schools and other groups in their local communities.

Please note:
1. The logo files on this site are to be used for print and Web.
2. Wherever possible, we encourage members to use the recycle bin with the message RECYCLE PLEASE and the web address (recycleplease.org) displayed, as this is the centerpiece of the campaign.
3. If you plan to use the logo at 15 % of the original size (best used on smaller mailing pieces), we recommend that you use the recycle bin with only the web address (RECYCLEPLEASE.ORG) displayed. The type treatment is also fine to use at this size.
4. If your printed piece is two color—or even one—we recommend that you use the black and white option available on this page.
