Karen Talavera

Karen Talavera, Principal, IMCOMEX LLC

Karen Talavera is a nationally recognized email and direct marketing expert and president of the consulting firm Synchronicity Marketing which she founded in 2003. Synchronicity Marketing specializes in improving direct marketing effectiveness through multichannel integration and is a member of the Email Experience Council. Karen is a board member of the Florida Direct Marketing Association (FDMA) and a member of the Marketing Executives Networking Group (MENG).s.

Karen frequently teaches, speaks and writes on issues related to permission email around the country. Prior to forming Synchronicity Marketing, Karen was VP Marketing and Director of Marketing for a company acquired by Acxiom Digital and Yesmail consecutively. Before entering the world of email marketing with Yesmail in 1999, Karen spent nearly 10 years in a variety of marketing and product development positions for information services giant Experian.

Jordan Ayan

Jordan Ayan, Chairman, Create-It! Inc

Jordan Ayan is the chairman of Create-It! Inc, an electronic marketing consulting firm that provides strategic consulting and project implementation for a wide variety of organizations. He is also the founder and CEO of SubscriberMail, one of the leading email marketing companies that provide permission-based marketers with services and tools to develop and deliver email communications. The two firms have served many leading organizations including Harley-Davidson, Philips, AC Nielsen, American Kennel Association and a broad variety of other organizations of all sizes.

Jordan has over 20 years of experience in direct and database marketing working for the leading firms in the field. During his tenure as a vice president at Dun & Bradstreet, he developed and launched a new business that provided companies with the ability to search a nationwide database of consumers. It was D&B’s first online consumer venture and was sold for $50 million after three years in business. The product structure pioneered online information searching, and is the foundation of most of the web-based directory products online today.

Jordan has written two books on the subject including the bestseller Aha! 10-Ways to Free Your Creative Spirit and Find Your Great Ideas (Random House). Jordan has applied creativity to building several businesses, and holds a patent for a fundamental aspect of online email marketing. He is a frequent keynote speaker on the topics of creativity and Internet technology and email marketing.
