Great direct response creative is like black magic. It can transform the words into a more powerful spell. It's part art, part science. Let's see the creative tricks of the trade that will result in the open, read, and response rates that will let you triumph in the Darwinian competition for "their" time and money.

Get the latest research and the new rules. Does ugly still sell? Should it? What typeface should you use for email? What should be seen first in an animated online ad? Should you ignore the brand police?

See specific ways to kill response and specific ways to lift it via design choices in this fast-paced session.

Design can be the 'secret sauce' that can make or break a direct response effort—no matter what the medium. And while copy may be king, even the most compelling copy in the world can be murdered by "bad" design choices.

So, learn how your concept can survive and thrive in the onslaught of marketing messages—even through the approval process. In this fast-paced virtual seminar learn about what works and what doesn't and why—in online ads, email, print, direct mail.

Learning Points:

  • Understand 10 common mistakes designers make that hurt response – whether in print or on the web
  • Master the #1 role direct response design must perform
  • See differences in design for marketing and selling consulting, technology and professional services versus how you market products
  • Work more imaginatively and creatively within the "rules" of direct design
  • Hear the latest research on direct response design approaches that work
